Our school’s name is named after a famous French writer called Guy de Maupassant. The school is situated in Fleury sur Andelle, Normandy.
There are about 650 pupils and 50 teachers.
The school is quite old (it was built 40 years ago). There are about 40 classrooms and 5 buildings. Our school will be rebuilt in 2010.
There is a gym near the school. It’s quite new.
There is a canteen too. Most pupils have lunch at the canteen, but some pupils go home at lunchtime. We get hot meals every day.
Lessons start at 8.30 a.m., but some pupils start at 9.30 a.m., and finish at 4.00 p.m. or 5.00 p.m.
The headmaster is Mr Prevost.
